To The Editor:

I am the mother of Jorden Saager, who was 2 ½ years old when she was murdered on January 4, 2000 in Gainesville by our babysitter.  As a mother, I will always be grateful to District Attorney Cindy Stormer for her efforts. I give her full credit for being the one who initiated final Justice for my baby when no one else would. While someone else may have indicted the case close to the end of that person’s term in office, I believe that person had no intention of proceeding with the case.  Why? Too many mistakes were made by certain people at the time. As a parent of a murdered child, getting the murderer convicted does not provide closure, but it does provide an absolute appreciation for what Cindy Stormer stands for. The truth.
